The State of Israel from the day it was established regards aliyah and
absorption as a national project of the highest importance.
The Ministry of Immigrant Absorption, as an executive branch of the
Government of Israel, in cooperation with the Authority for Small and
Medium-sized Businesses in Israel has initiated this project to provide
basic information and business consultancy services to anyone considering
making aliyah to Israel, either as a new immigrant or as a returning
resident, to help further the success of his absorption into the country by
establishing an independent business.
Business consultation is given at no charge as a service provided by the
Ministry of Immigration and Absorption and the Authority for Small and
Medium-sized Businesses in Israel through the Entrepreneurial Promotion
Centers (MATI) Rishon Lezion by experienced, professional advisers.
The process of consultation is carried out in two stages:
First stage - While you are still abroad you will receive
individual counseling by a business consultant (via e-mail) to check out the
business proposal and its feasibility in Israel’s business world.
Consultation will be based on a questionnaire that you will be asked to fill
out. Strict confidentiality will be maintained regarding any information
that you give for this purpose.
Second stage - When you arrive in Israel, your personal
consultant will help you through the processes related to establishing a
business and receiving the services available to entrepreneurs, new
immigrant and returning residents alike.
